1. About These Terms
1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the MotorRedress website at www.motorredress.co.uk and any associated online portal, mobile application or digital service (together, the “Website”).
1.2 The Website is operated by Milberg London LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales (OC430853), trading as MotorRedress (“we”, “us”, “our”, “the Firm”).
1.3 By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Website.
1.4 These Terms do not govern the legal services we provide. If you instruct us to act on your behalf in a motor finance claim, the relationship between us is governed by the Letter of Authority, Damages Based Agreement, Client Care Letter, and Pre-Contract Information Summary, which are separate documents.

3. The Website and Its Purpose
3.1 The Website provides information about MotorRedress and our motor finance claims service. It may also allow you to:
- Check whether you may have an eligible motor finance claim;
- Submit your details and documents to instruct us;
- Sign documents electronically;
- Track the progress of your claim via the online portal;
- Contact us.
3.2 The information on the Website is provided for general information purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice. You should not rely on any information on the Website as a substitute for professional legal advice tailored to your specific circumstances.
3.3 We make reasonable efforts to ensure the information on the Website is accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant or guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.
4. Eligibility
4.1 The Website is intended for use by individuals aged 18 or over who are resident in the United Kingdom.
4.2 Our motor finance claims service is available to consumers who entered into a PCP, HP or Conditional Sale finance agreement between 6 April 2007 and 1 November 2024.
4.3 We do not provide services to businesses or corporate entities in respect of motor finance claims, unless separately agreed in writing.
5. Account Registration and Portal Access
5.1 If you instruct us to act on your behalf, you may be provided with access to a secure online portal (“Your Account”). You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
- All activity that occurs under Your Account;
- Notifying us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of Your Account.
5.2 You must provide accurate, current and complete information when creating Your Account and keep your details up to date.
5.3 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Your Account if we reasonably believe it has been compromised or is being misused.
6. Acceptable Use
6.1 You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Use the Website in any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation;
- Use the Website in any way that is fraudulent or deceptive;
- Transmit or procure the sending of any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising, promotional material, or spam;
- Knowingly introduce viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, the server on which the Website is stored, or any server, computer or database connected to the Website;
- Attack the Website via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack;
- Use automated systems (including bots, scrapers or crawlers) to access the Website without our prior written consent;
- Submit false, misleading or inaccurate information to us via the Website.
6.2 We reserve the right to report any suspected unlawful activity to the relevant law enforcement authorities and to cooperate with those authorities.

7.1 All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and the compilation thereof, is the property of Milberg London LLP or its licensors and is protected by United Kingdom and international copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws.
7.2 The MotorRedress name and logo are trade marks (or pending trade marks) of Milberg London LLP. You may not use them without our prior written consent.
7.3 You may print or download extracts from the Website for your personal, non-commercial use, provided that you do not modify the content and you retain all copyright and proprietary notices.
7.4 You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, or otherwise exploit any content from the Website for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
8. Third-Party Links
8.1 The Website may contain links to third-party websites (including the FCA, Financial Ombudsman Service, Citizens Advice, MoneyHelper, and others). These links are provided for your convenience and information only.
8.2 We have no control over the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party websites and do not endorse or accept any responsibility for them. Your use of any third-party website is at your own risk and subject to the terms and conditions of that website.
9. Electronic Signatures
9.1 The Website may allow you to sign documents electronically (including the Letter of Authority, Damages Based Agreement, and associated documents). By using the electronic signature functionality, you agree that:
- Your electronic signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature, in accordance with the Electronic Communications Act 2000;
- You are the person identified in the document being signed;
- You intend to sign the document and to be legally bound by its terms;
- We may record and store your IP address, timestamp, and other audit trail data in connection with your electronic signature.
10. Financial Promotions
10.1 Any statements on the Website regarding potential compensation amounts, success rates, or claim outcomes are for illustrative purposes only and do not constitute a guarantee of any particular result.
10.2 All financial promotions on the Website are approved by Milberg London LLP (SRA No. 670230) and comply with CMCOB 3.2 (financial promotions and communications) and the FCA’s Consumer Duty requirements.
10.3 The Website does not engage in cold calling. We do not make unsolicited telephone calls to individuals about claims management services, in accordance with Regulation 21A of the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (PECR).
11. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
11.1 No legal advice: The information on the Website does not constitute legal advice. We provide legal advice only to clients who have formally instructed us by signing the Letter of Authority and associated documents.
11.2 No guarantee of outcome: We do not guarantee the success of any claim or any particular level of compensation. Past results are not indicative of future outcomes.
11.3 Website availability: We do not guarantee that the Website will be available at all times or that it will be free from errors, viruses, or other harmful components. We may suspend, withdraw, or restrict the availability of the Website at any time without notice.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
15.1 These Terms, their subject matter and formation (including any non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
15.2 You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, save that if you are a resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland, and if you are a resident of Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland.
16. General
16.1 Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the provision shall be deemed deleted. In either case, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
16.2 Waiver: No failure or delay by us in exercising any right or remedy under these Terms shall operate as a waiver of that right or remedy.
16.3 Entire agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your use of the Website and supersede all previous agreements, understandings and representations in respect of that subject matter.
16.4 Third-party rights: These Terms do not confer any rights on any person other than the parties and (where applicable) their successors and permitted assigns. No term of these Terms is enforceable under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 by a person who is not a party to them.
